Zepboundary

It can only be called a boundary for me. I am pushing 200lbs and can’t seem to get past it. I am on a dose of 15, and I expected to drop some. I have lost 20lbs over the last year, but we have been stagnant lately. I drink too many empty calories, so I know that is contributing. I’d like to see 160lbs at some point. I started on Wegovy but had limited weight change. Zepbound seems better, but I need it a couple more weeks before I declare anything on it because 10 and 12 doses did little.

We took a road trip from New Jersey to Orlando, Florida. We took the electric EQE 320 because we have become less of a “range anxiety” people because the car mapped out perfectly on where we should/could charge. Charging was a breeze. No more than 30 minutes per charge. Mercedes has charging stations, and we discovered we get free charging at these particular locations. Traveling to Florida and back, we only paid for charging three times. Tolls, on the other hand, were prevalent. Florida in particular loves their tolls. I guess with no income tax, they have to get revenue from other sources. It was an entertaining vacation. We went to Disney’s Epcot Center, Gator Park, and SeaWorld, plus a couple of boat rides in the surrounding lakes. I weighed the same before the trip as the day after. Disheartening. The car did well. Leave it to Mercedes; they brought us a car to travel in style. We never experienced charging problems, especially since the car told us how many slots were open for any visit. All around a good logistical trip.

We are back on the home front for the most part the rest of the summer. Went to NYC’s Madison Square Garden to see Rush yesterday. My favorite band, even though they are on hiatus with Neal gone; they have to see what they can do. Maybe they will create new music. We are also going to see AC/DC at the Meadowlands in September. This is mostly Dan’s sister bringing us along, although I did buy the tickets, so who is bringing whom?

We have most of September and October off; perhaps we can cram a cruise in during that time. Retirement is good.

Side note. I take Zepbound 12 MG every Sunday. I am aware of any offsets. So far it has been good.
